Walking with the lions is an adventurous activity which offers a thrilling and unforgettable experience in Mauritius. Nested in the beautiful west coast of Mauritius atop the sugarcane fields, lies Casela Nature Parks, during this experience, visitors typically walk with trained and professional guides to ensure the safety for both the participants and the lions. The lions are usually accustomed to human interaction from a young age and are carefully monitored during these encounters. Walking with lions allows visitors to come close to these majestic creatures while also learning about them.

This wildlife experience walk with the lion in a small group typically lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once in a lifetime experience, walking with real lions in their natural habitat. Safety instructions are given under the supervision and direction by the trainers and protocol to follow before you start with the walk.

It's important to note that the welfare of the animals is a top priority and strict protocols are in place to ensure that the lions are well cared and that their natural behaviors are respected. Visitors are briefed on how to behave around the lions and are reminded to follow the instructions of the guides at all times.
The lions are well behaved as long as you respect them with maximum safety measures provided.

• Open from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1700 p.m.
• Walk with the lion is available every day except on Sundays.
• Visitors as from 15 years old only can walk with the lions.
• Visitors must be 1m50 to walk with the lions.
• Photography, video equipment and mobile phones are strickly prohibited during the walk.
• Visitors must be mentally stable to walk with the lions
• Safety briefing are given before you start the walk
• The timings are approximate and might vary based on actual conditions and your preferences.
• This tour can be combined with other Siteseeing or other Attractions
• Most activities are conducted in rains, if clients choose not to participate due to rain, cancellations fee is applicable.
• Transport is available for an additional supplement and will include pick up and drop off from any hotel/place of accommodation.
• The driver/guide speaks English & French and will answer to all your questions throughout the tour.
• To secure your reservation, a minimum of 24-hour notice is required for reservation.
• Safety is your top priority, follow your operator or the organizer.
• To avoid queue up to get your tickets at the entrance you may book in advance.
• Inform your operator or the organizer of any medical concerns.
• Walk with lions are not recommended for persons with medical issues.
• Stay hydrated during outdoor activities and specially during summer.
• Trips can be modified due to weather conditions.
• Free parking is available in the Car Parking area.
• It is recommended to lock your valuable belongings in your car.
• Food and drinks are not allowed inside the park

Things to carry: Sunscreen, Mosquito repellent, Water, Hat, Camera, extra clothes and wear comfortable shoes to avoid slipping.
